Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve proper data communication by providing an inter-network connection device between a digital data switching network and telephone switching network and by simplifying the constitution for mutual data communication between both the switching networks. CONSTITUTION:Inter-network connection device 3 is connected between digital switching network 1 having digital switching equipment 13 connected to full-duplex communication terminal 11 and telephone switching network 21 having telephone switching equipment 23 connected to half-duplex communication terminal 21. An envelope signal from switching network 1 is received by receiving-separating circuit 31 to detect data bits of the signal, and modulated by modulating circuit 32 with a carrier to be transferred to switching equipment 2 via hybrid circuit 33. On the basis of the carrier from switching network 2, the envelope signal having the prescribed contents of the data bits is applied to demodulating circuit 34 via circuit 33 and circuit 34 detects the carrier to apply its detection signal to envelope composing circuit 35, which transfers the envelope signal, having the prescribed contents given, to switching equipments 1, thereby achieving the proper data communication.
