Abstract
PURPOSE: To visually recognize the position where recording or reproduction is in process, by displaying a elapse time, etc., on the basis of the count value of an address counter in the writing or reproduction operation of a solid storage element.
CONSTITUTION: When operation mode switches 19-1 and 19-2 are placed at recording mode positions, electric power is supplied to clock oscillating circuit 3 and while an input signal from terminal 1 is A/D-converted, the frequency division output of frequency dividing circuit 5 is counted by address counter 11. Under the write command passed through AND gate 21, the digital input is written at the count address position indicated by counter 11. The address based upon the count value of counter 11, on the other hand, is applied via latch circiut 14 and switch 20 to dividing circuit 23 which performs division at the frequency division output period of circuit 5, and the elapse time from a prescribed address is displayed on display device 18 via decoder 17, etc. Switch 20 is changed over to display the remaining recordable time when an inversion output is applied to circuit 23. In reproduction, similar operation is performed to recognize visually, easily and securely the position where recording or reproduction is in process.
