PURPOSE:To obtain a loudspeaker having superior resistance to input without increasing the caliber of a diaphragm by increasing surface density at the outer diaphragm circumference side and by moving the position of a nodal line to the outer circumference side. CONSTITUTION:Surface materials 1 and 1' and tape-shaped core material 2 are all made of metal foil or plastic film. Core material 2 is arranged radially by folding so that it extends from center sides to outer circumference sides of surface materials 1 and 1' and returns to center sides after being folded at outer circumference sides. Then, while folded parts A are all positioned on the same circle at outer circumference sides, inner folded parts consists of folded parts B, extending nearly to the center parts of the surface materials, and folded parts B' folded at intermediate parts away from the center parts. As a result, diaphragm 3 uses a more amount of the core material at the outer circumference parts than at the center parts and has higher surface density at the outer circumference parts. Consequently, the position of the nodal line is closer to the outer circumference side and calibers of a coil bobbin and voice coil increase, so that the resistance to the input of the loud speaker will be improved.
