Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate VTR easily from a television camera side by operating one operation button, provided at the television camera side, in accordance with the contents of VTR operation mode indicators in a view finder. CONSTITUTION:Television camera 100 projects a video signal, obtained by image pickup tube 3, on finder cathode-ray tube 8 and also sends it to VTR200. Mode scanning circuit 21 of VTR200 generates various operation mode signals of VTR at intervals of constant time successively and sends them to camera 100 by way of encoder 22. Decoder 32 of camera 100 displays those operation mode signals by indicators 33-36 in the finder. An operator, when those indicators indicate a desired operation mode, operates push button 37. The operation signal is received by VTR200 and system control circuit 26 places VTR in the fixed operation mode.
