Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent dew and the particles of a pitch agent from adhering to a lens, by providing a cooling chamber, a separating chamber and a drying chamber in a device for separating a polishing lens dish, the pitch agent, etc. from the lens polished and by introducing no-moisture atmosphere gas into the drying chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A container 23, in which an already polished lens fixed on a lens dish by a pitch agent, is conveyed into a cooling chamber 1. Such containers 23 are sequentially stacked on a vertically movable rest 21. Low-temperature liquefied gas is sprayed into the cooling chamber 1 to quickly cool the lenses and the lens dishes to separate the lens from the dish by their contraction difference. After that, the lowest container 23 is conveyed into a separating chamber 2 through a convey-out port 1B by a push-out member 27. The other containers 23 are then sequentially conveyed into the chamber 2 in the same way. Only the separated lenses are housed in the containers 23, which are conveyed into a drying chamber 3 and stacked on a vertically movable rest 29. The lenses are warmed and dried while moisture collection on the surface of the lenses is prevented by no-moisture atmosphere gas vaporized by an evaporator in the drying chamber 3. The uppermost container 23 is thereafter pushed out through a convey-out port 3B by a push-out member 36. The other containers 23 are then sequentially conveyed out in the same way.
