Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a manufacturing easiness of a life raft, by a method wherein the life raft is constituted such that two sheets, which are applied with rubber or synthetic resin and have airtightness, are placed so that one sheet is laid over another and the two sheets are adhered together by press using a mechanical device to form hollow cylindrical parts.
CONSTITUTION: Two flexible sheets 9 and 10, which are applied with rubber or synthetic resin and have airtightness, are placed such that one sheet is laid over another and the two sheets are adhered together by press at connections 11a, 11b, and 11c to form hollow cylindrical parts, i.e., upper and lower air chambers 7 and 8. This completes the production of the life raft, and said press-adhering work is performed in one process using a mechanical device.
