Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the timing of fuel injection in an optimum manner by calling out a fuel injection timing instruction signal from a memory programmed beforehand on the basis of the load and rotational number of the engine and by controlling an actuator in accordance with data given by the signal.
CONSTITUTION: In a memory B in a computer 8, an optional injection time which is in accord with the demanded leading angle of the engine is programmed beforehand as an instruction signal on the two-dimensional coordinates of the load of the engine with the rotation thereof. And, at the time of operation of the engine, the injection time instruction signal is called out from the memory B in an operational device A based on each of the signals of the rotational number of the engine and the load thereof from detecting devices 61 and 62 respectively and is compared with the feedback signal of fuel feed pressure from a pressure sensor 60 in a comparator C. An error correction signal obtained therefrom is sent out to a driving circuit D to operate and control the actuator 9, e.g. an electromagnetic type pressure reducing valve controlling the fuel feed pressure and thereby to control the timing of fuel injection.
