Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of the lead end of a field coil and the connecting part thereof due to vibration in an AC generator by forming a boss integrally with a coil bobbin to introduce the lead end of the coil toward the side of an iron core and introducing the free end of the slip ring toward the side of the iron core to connect it. CONSTITUTION:A hollow boss 4a projected to the side of a field iron core 3 is formed integrally with a coil bobbin 4 on which a field coil 5 is wound. The lead end 5a of the field coil is passed through the hollow part of the boss 4a and introduced to the side of the iron core. On the other hand, the free end of the connecting terminal 7 of the slip ring 6 is bent, the end 7a of the terminal is introduced to the projected part of the boss 4a, the small-diameter part 4c of the end of the boss 4a is inserted into a hole perforated at the end 7a of the terminal and fixed. Thus, the end of the lead 5a of the coil is electrically connected to the end 7a of the terminal.
