Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain concentrated phosphoric acid having little tendency to post- precipitaion, by incorporating a concentrated phosphoric acid obtained by concentrating a wet-process phosphoric acid with seed sludge to promote the generation of the sludge, wherein the weight of the seed sludge is 0.2W1.2 times that of the sludge expected to be generated after being left for a long period.
CONSTITUTION: Wet-process phosphoric acid is concentrated to a P2O5 concentration of 50W56%, and incoporated with a seed sludge to promote the generation of the sludge. The amount of the seed sludge is 0.2W1.2 times weight of the sludge which is expected to be generated after being left for a long period. The generated sludge is removed to obtain concentrated clear phosphoric acid solution, which has little tendency to post-precipitation.
