Abstract

PURPOSE: To restrain the generation of noises when the clutch is in a neutral position and maintain a low hysteresis characteristic by providing a repulsion means and ball-and-roller bearing which transmit torque between a main driving plate, auxiliary plate and flange part.
CONSTITUTION: In common windows 4a, 5a and 2a provided in the main driving plate 4, auxiliary plate 5 and flange part 2 are inserted resiliently and alternately a resilient member 7 and a coil spring 8, through which the torque transmission between the flange part 2 and these plates 4 and 5 is made possible. Between a clutch hub 1, the flange part 2 and these two plates 4, 5 is interposed the ball-and- roller bearing 10 having steel balls 13 and 14 inserted between L-shaped track wheels 11 and 12. If there occurs a twist between the flange part 2 and the two plates 4, 5, the coil spring 8 contracts resiliently. If the twist is larger than a predetermined angle, the resilient member 7 contracts resiliently and thus a very low hysteresis characteristic can be obtained.
