Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically and exactly insert objects to be plated by a method in which a moving gate into which a cylindrical object to be plated is inserted is matched with a fixed gate and then the object to be plated is fitted on the vertical projection of a platform. CONSTITUTION:A large number of tube couplers inside a parts feeder 38 are dropped one by one onto a chute 46 by a stopper 48 and then directed into the guide path of a moving gate 52. The moving gate 52 is moved by a given distance to the left side, and the tube couplers are again sent into the guide path. The operations are repeated to insert a given number of the tube couplers into the guide path. The gate 52 is further moved and matched with a fixed gate 70. On the other hand, rotator 41 turns a vacant platform 20 to make it vertical, and its projection is inserted into the entrance of the guide path of the gate 70, where the insertion bar 86 moves the tube couplers inside the guide path to fit them on the projection by driving a cylinder 88. Thus, all the tube couplers can be fitted on the projection of the platform 20 at one time.
