Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain an excellent adhering property of a cylindrical lining material for the inside surface of a conduit by a method wherein a string-formed member is connected to a trailing end of the lining material and then an appropriate tension is applied to the lining material while introducing the lining material into the conduit.
CONSTITUTION: One end of the cylindrical lining material 1 coated with an adhesive on the entire of its inside peripheral surface is fixed to a leading end of the conduit 6 or the like, and the lining material 1 is passed in the conduit 6 by feeding compressed air into the material 1 through a tank 3 by a compressor 5. In this case, the string-formed member 1' is preliminarily connected to the trailing end of the lining material 1 so that the tension can be continuously imparted to the material 1 even after the material 1 reaches a point corresponding to about one half of the length of the conduit 6. Accordingly, the lining material can be adhered to the inside surface of the conduit at a sufficiently high speed and without occurrence of penetration of air bubbles.
