Abstract
PURPOSE: To form the relief shape easily without requiring a large-size press by using a clamping mechanism for holding an upper mold or a lower mold for the laminate while constantly maintaining a predetermined spacing.
CONSTITUTION: The device 1 by which the laminate mainly comprising a core material consisting of flexible foamed polyurethane is bonded integrally with a sheet formed cover material and is formed into the desired relief shape is composed of a stand 10, an upper mold device 20, a locking device 30 and a lower mold device 40. The stand 10 is a frame body fixed on a base such as a turntable or the like, the upper mold 21 is pivotably supported at the upper part of the stand 10 so that it can be opened and closed freely, while the lower mold 41 is fitted at the lower part of the stand 10 in such a manner that it can be moved in the vertical direction. The upper mold device 20 comprises the upper mold 21 having a mold face 21a for imparting the desired shape to the laminate, a mechanism for opening and closing the upper mold 21 through a pivot shaft 21 pivotably supported by the stand 10, a hot plate 21b and the like. The lower mold device 40 comprises the lower mold 41, a hot plate 41b and the like.
