Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of insulation, mechanism and heat dissipation for the subject rotary machine by a method wherein heat-resisting powder is filled in the container enclosing a stator. CONSTITUTION:The heat-resisting powder 5 consisting of at least one of alumina powder, silica powder and mica powder is filled in the gap between a can 1, enclosing the stator 6, and a stator coil 3. Through this procedure, the quantity of oxygen in the can 1 decreases and, therefore, the deterioration due to oxidizing action can be prevented and also thermal conductivity can be improved to enhance the heat dissipating performance.
