Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a propagation delay time of the level shift part, by connecting the IIL output collector of the lower layer with the IIL input basd of the upper layer through a diode. CONSTITUTION:A level shifting diode 11 is connected between the collector of the switching (TR)1-1 and the base of the TR1-2, and a diode 12 is connected between the collector of the TR1-3 and the base of the TR1-4, respectively. A level shifting diode 13 is connected between the TR's 4, 5 provided for shifting a signal level from the upper layer to the lower layer, as well, and the load TR14 is connected to the base of the TR4, and the constant-current load consisting of TR's 15, 16, 17 is connected to the base of the TR5, respectively. Since the IIL output of the lower layer is connected to the IIL input base of the upper layer through a diode, when a signal is transferred from the lower layer to the upper layer, the pulse amplitude is not generated more than required due to operation of the diode, a time required for charging the parasitic capacity is reduced, and a transfer time is shortened.
