Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled coating compound suitable for coating molded article of polyolefin such as cars, etc., obtained by dissolving a specified halogenated polyolefin, modified alkyd resin, and acrylic resin in an organic solvent, followed by adding other blending components to the solution.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 3W50wt% halogenated polyolefin having a halogenation degree ≤30%, (B) 10W80wt% one or more of halogenatd polyolefin halogenated rubber having a halogenation degree ≥30%, and cyclic rubber, and (C) 10W 80wt% acrylic alkyd resin, styrene-alkyd resin and/or acrylic resin compatible with the ingredient A and B are dissolved in an organic solvent, and, if necessary, the solution is blended with additives, e.g., pigment, dye, extender pigment, dispersant, inhibitor for segregation, inhibitor for precipitation, etc., to give the desired coating compound.
