Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare the titled compound which can be recovered, regenerated, etc. and useful as a packing material, catalyst, etc. for capturing and separation of heavy metals, optical resolution, etc., by adsorbing a solution of a specific hetero macrocyclic compound to the surface of a porous inorganic solid, and irradiating with ionizing radiations. CONSTITUTION:(A) A solution obtained by dissolving a vinyl-containing hetero macrocyclic compound (e.g. 4'-vinylbenzo-15-crown 5) in an organic solvent (e.g. benzene), is adsorbed to the surface of (B) a porous inorganic solid (pref. silica gel), and irradiated with ionizing radiations at a dose of pref. <=3X10<6>R. The amount of the component (A) dissolved in the solvent is pref. 0.5-5wt% of the component (B).
