Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the internal pressure of the tire without using any mechanically working devices and also without deteriorating reliability on the tire, by burying the piezoelectricity transducer, of which electrical construct is variable in accordance with the internal pressure of the tire, in the tire, and by detecting the electrical constant of the transducer. CONSTITUTION:The pressure variable resistance rubber film 6, of which both internal and external surfaces the conductive rubbers 4 and 5 are adhered to, is attached to the outer circumferece of the covering rubber 3 inside of the tire, and the resistance detector 10 and the signal oscillator 11 provided with the disk 9 of the rim 2 are connected with the pressure variable resistance rubber film 6. By this device, the resistance value of the pressure variable resistance rubber film 6 is varied in accordance with the fluctuation of internal pressure of the tire 1, and the resistance value is displayed on the indicator 15 through the detector 10 and the signal oscillator 11. Therefore, any mechanical force does not work to the tire 1, so that the internal pressure of the tire can be detected even when the car is running without harming reliability of the tire itself.
