Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely seal glass fibers without producing any holes by passing the glass fibers into the holes provided in parts, then injecting an adhesive made of uncured synthetic resin and applying ultrasonic oscillations. CONSTITUTION:Sleeves 6 made of metal, glass, ceramics, etc. are provided in the holes opened in covers 3 closing both ends of a cylinder 1 in which an electric circuit unit 2 is housed. After cables 5 of glass fibers 5 are passed into these sleeves 6, an adhesive 8 made of uncured synthetic resin is flowed therein and before the adhesive 8 sets, ultrasonic oscillations are applied to get rid of holes in the adhesive 8 and clean the objects to be adhered, thereafter, the adhesive 8 is allowed to set, whereby the glass fibers 7 are sealed. The surface of the objects to be adhered is cleaned and adhesive power is considerably increased.
