Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the exact rotational speed of an engine by detecting a time required for rotation in integral times more than one rotation of an output shaft in the two-cycle engine, while detecting a time required for rotation in integral times more than two rotations of an output shaft in the four-cycle engine.
CONSTITUTION: The rotational number of the output shaft 4 of the engine 1 is detected by a magnetic detector 6, shaped by a wave-form shaping circuit 7 and further compared with a reference pulse from a pulse generating circuit 12 in a controlling pulse generating circuit 8. The output signal from this circuit is made to be a latch signal by a counter 9 and retained by a data retaining device 10. Thereafter, it is sent to a processing device 13 by a data transmission device 11, the time required for the case of each cycle is computed and the value thereof is counted in an output counter circuit 15 through the intermediary of a data transmission device 14, while the quantity of injection is compensated by driving the actuator 3 of an injecting pump 2.
