CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency oscillator 4 is disposed at a suitable distance on the outer side of a base body 2 of a cylinder or the like having a photosensitive layer 1 in which photoconductive particles such as CdS particles are dispersed in a binder resin, whereby the photosensitive layer 1 is quickly dried. The photosensitive layer which has been in the moisture absorbed state in a high-moisture atmosphere is thoroughly dried in one minute by the output of 1KW, by which its characteristics are restored. Thereby, the need for constantly conducting electricity as with the conventional case of providing a heater 3 in the inside is eliminated, and this is advantageous in terms of safety control and energy saving; in addition, the good and stable copied images are obtained.
