PURPOSE:To obtain a clear image independently of humidity by adjusting the surface resistivity of the upper and under surfaces of a thermoplastic resin sheet for giving an image by fixing a one-component toner to a specified range each and the volume resistivity of the sheet to a specified value or above. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene (PP) is adjusted so as to satisfy the following conditions: 1X10<11>-1X10<17>OMEGA surface resistivity of the upper surface of the sheet, 1X10<9>-1X10<14>OMEGA surface resistivity of the under surface and >=1X10<14>OMEGA.cm volume resistivity of the sheet. Especially, uniaxially oriented PP films each contg. 20-75wt% inorg. fine powder of clay, TiO2 or the like are laminated on both sides of a biaxially oriented PP film contg. inorg. powder similarly, and a 0.2-0.8% aqueous soln. of an amphoteric ionic resin is applied to the image forming surface of the resulting three-layer sheet and dried to manufacture a sheet. Thus, electrostatic copying with superior paper feedability is enabled, and by this copying a clear image is obtd. with a one-component toner even at high humidity.
