Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily confirm whether a picture to be reproduced is good or not, and execute an efficient electric transmission, by providing an electric signal related to picture information to a picture indicator, in the course of an electric transmission of a facsimile original which requires confirmation of reproduction status of a picture. CONSTITUTION:A picture of a facsimile original 3 whose image has been formed by an optical system 2 is read one by one by the reader circuit 1, and electric signal is provided to the modulating and demodulating circuit 13 and the mark detection circuit 11. The modulating and demodulating circuit 13 modulates a prescribed carrier by said electric signal, sends it out to the transmission line 7, also demodulates again said modulated electric signal, and provides it to the switching circuit 14. On the other hand, when the mark detection circuit 11 has detected a mark indicating a copy described on the facsimile original, it sends out a control signal to the control circuit 15, and sends out a recording instruction signal to the switching circuit 14. The switching circuit 14 sends out an electric signal from the modulating and demodulating circuit 13, to the recording circuit 8, and makes recording paper 10 copy the original concerned.
