Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow positions to be automatically detected by a method wherein one end of an oscillating rotary lever is used as a measuring lever and the other as an operating lever, while the force transmitted from the measuring lever to the free end of the operating lever is made equivalent to the spring force of a pressure switch. CONSTITUTION:A stick oscillating rotary lever linearly extends within and without a container 10 in such a way that the lever is sandwiched between bearings 19, 20. A measurig lever 2 extends externally from a central support 1, while an operating lever 3 extends inwardly. On the both sides of the direction the operating lever 3 rotates, there are projected ends 22, 23 of screws attached to the side walls of the container 10 sandwiching the middle part of the lever, and they are used as stoppers to control the rotating volume of the lever 3. On the other hand, the free ends of levers 8, 9 consisting of springs each are made to contact the side surfaces of the free ends of the lever 3, so that the contact switches 6, 7 of microswitches 4, 5 work as pressure switches if prssure added to them exceeds a certain value. Therefore, when the slider is lowered, its contact pressure is transferred to the lever 9. Then the detector automatically detects the position where the pressure is equal to the prescribed value, while it increases the contact pressure continuously.
