Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an output stroke that is varied in a step-wise manner, by connecting a plurality of actuators having strokes changed in a multiple proportion to each other in series in a system for controlling over all engines provided in a plurality of tractive stocks connected to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Engines 19 provided in each vehicle of a train are controlled by a fuel control means 20, and each of these engines 19 has a throttle lever 34 for controlling the revolutional speed of the same. Here, the control means 20 is composed of three cylinders 35W37 connected in series to each other. A pistion rod 38 of the cylinder 37 is connected to a fixed fulcrum 39, and a piston rod 40 of the cylinder 36 is connected to the casing of the cylinder 35. Further, a piston rod 41 of the cylinder 35 is connected to a lever 42. These cylinders 35W37 are controlled by respective solenoid valves 46W48, which are in turn controlled by a master controller (not shown) which produces a control signal changed, for instance in eight steps.
