Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy setting of time via a display mode selection switch and a time setting mode selection switch, by using a display mode storing counter, a time setting mode storing counter and a condition detecting gate circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:The dividing output of a dividing circuit 1 is counted by the counting circuits 2-6, and the outputs of the circuits 2-6 are supplied to the decoder/driver circuit 8 to be displayed there. Furthermore the signal obtained at the mode control circuit 7 is transmitted to each of the circuits 2-6 plus 8. A detecting circuit that detects the working of the time setting mode selection switch S1 plus a detecting circuit that detects a consecutive action or a 1-shot action of the display mode selection switch S2 are provided at the circuit 7. In addition, the circuit 7 includes a storing circuit containing a shift register and a ring counter. As a result, the display mode is changed to the time setting mode by a single action of the switch S1.
