Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to automatically detect a poisonous substance in drinking water without using a reagent, by putting fishes in the water to be monitored and detecting that the fishes are floated on the surface of the water by the poisonous substance. The fishes S in the tank WT are not get out of the tank WT by the screen S. And, the fishes S float by a poisonous substance when the poisonous substance is mixed in the water and the light emitted from the luminous instrument L is intercepted by coming the fishes between the instrument L and photodetector PD and then, an alarm is given by the alarm device WN. Hereby, continuous detection of the poisonous substance is made possible and automatic remote monitor of the poisonous substance is made possible because of being capable of transmitting detected signal to a remote place.
