Abstract

PURPOSE:To control deviation pursuant to the steering of an omnidirectional vehicle, by mounting the wheels which support the vehicle body to one the same side against the steering axle. CONSTITUTION:Wheel 14 respectively at the four corners of the vehicle body 11 are so mounted that a pair of one opposite angle are trailing wheels 13a and a pair of the other opposite angle are driving wheels 13b. Each wheel 14 revolves by revolving each steering axle 12, and each trailing wheel and driving wheel is mounted to one the same side against the steering axis 12. At least the trailing wheels 13b are to be mounted to one the same side against the steering axle 12. So, when the steering axle 12 is revolved to the left, force in the arrowed direction is applied to the axle 12, with force F applied to the driving wheels 13b greater and to the trailing wheels so lesser that it is almost negligible. Therefore, no couple of forces is applied to the vehicle body 11 and shift in the side direction is small.
