Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent clogging of a dust for high-humidity dust-laden gas economically and efficiently by automatically starting or stopping water spraying to high- temp. materials according to the temperatures of the dust-laden gas and the duct wall surface.
CONSTITUTION: The rotary cylinder 3 of a knock-out machine 1 and a dust collector 8 are operated and the molds A having been charged with molten metal are fed into the cylinder 3 by a conveyor 15. The molds A are knocked out to castings and molding sand, and the high-temp. materials are cooled by the water spray.
