Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a high-speed recording of the picture signal, by carrying out a recording by dividing plural pieces of dynamic RAMs with every picture element and thus shortening substantially the writing period as a whole although each RAM works in a low speed. CONSTITUTION:The picture recorder includes a slicing circuit 2 that converts the analog picture signal obtained, through the TV camera 1 into a digital signal, a dynamic RAM4 that records the digitized signal with every picture element, a latch circuit 3 that writes the digitized signal into the RAM4, a latch circuit 5 that reads the digitized signal out of the RAM4, and a selector 6 respectively. The circuit 3, RAM4 and circuit 5 are provided in two sets, respectively. Thus the digitized signal containing consecutive plural pieaces of picture elements is wirtten into the dynamic RAM4I and 4II with every picture element.
