Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to perform the insertion and fixing of an insulated wedge and a magnetic wedge in one mechanical process by a method wherein a pushing device which performs a reciprocatory movement on a core groove is provided, the insulated wedge is pushed in from one end of the groove in the state wherein a current is applied on the core winding and the magnetic wedge is pushed in from the other end of the groove and held in that state of condition. CONSTITUTION:The core 1 wherein a winding has been inserted is placed on a core pedestal 7. In the vincisty of the core pedestal, an insulated wedge pedestal 8 and a magnetic wedge pedestal 10 are provided in such manner that the core 1 is pinched from the axial direction and the insulated wedge 5 and the magnetic wedge 6 are placed thereon respectively. Also, the pushing device 8b having an attracting plate 9 consists of an electromagnet is provided in such manner that it is able to perform a reciprocatory movement on the inner circumferece of the core 1. In order to insert the wedge, a current is applied on the winding 4 at first, and after magnetic flux is generated on the core 1, the insulated wedge 5 is inserted by moving the pushing device 8b forward. Then the magnetization of the attracting plate 9 is cancelled and the magnetic wedge is held by the magnetic flux of the core 1.
