Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the nickel in a metallic material by using a water-containing material impregnated with mixed solutions of a soln. consisting of dimethylglyoxime and sodium hydroxide and a soln. of sodium flouride and sodium phosphate solutions. CONSTITUTION:The anode end 5 of a power source 2 is abutted electricity-conductably on a metallic material 1, and absorbent cotton 3 which is a water-containing material impregnated with a coloring reagent is pinched with a pincette of a good electric conductor which is a cathode end 4, whereby it is contacted with the metallic material 1.
