Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve measurement accuracy and reliability by simultaneously irradiating ultraviolet rays under the same conditions to a standard fluorescence emitting body of known emission efficiency and a fluorescence emitting body to be measured and integrating the fluorescence emitted at this time. CONSTITUTION:The ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet ray lamp 3a are simultaneously entered to a standard fluorescence emitting body 1 of known emission efficiency and a fluorescence emitting body 2 to be measured, so that both emitting bodies 1, 2 are caused to emit fluorescence. The light emitted from the bodies 1, 2 is entered via photodetecting filters 6, 7 to photoelectric transducers 4, 5, by which it is converted to electric signals, after which the signals are integrated with integrators 8, 9. When the integrated value of the standard size integrator 8 assumes a predetermined value, the integration of the integrator 9 to be measured is stopped. The integration value of the integrator 9 of this time is displayed as a fluorescence dose in a display device 11.
