Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable adjustment with a simple constitution, by producing the input to the counter determining the frequency-dividing ratio with the rotation of a dial, in a digital receiver in which the turning frequency is decided with a programmable frequncy devider. CONSTITUTION:The frequency dividing ratio of a programmable frequency divider 15 is decided with the value N of a counter 16, which is determined with pulse input and the pulse is outputted from terminals T1, T2. A ratchet 23 is inserted coaxially to the rear side of an axis 22 of a dial 21 and a number of pawls 231 in triangle shape are formed around the ratchet, and a switch 24 is provided so that the pawls 231 of the ratchet 23 are in contact with the moving contact 241. The switch 24 has fixed contacts 242, 243 at the both sides of the moving contact. For example, a DC power supply 25 is connected to the moving contact 241 and the fixed contacts 242, 243 are connected to the up input 161 or down input 162 of the counter 16 as the 1st and 2nd output terminals T1 and T2.
