Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of vibration and improve the life time and reliability of a shutter by using an electro-optical light control device such as a liquid crystal or an electrochromatic element as the shutter.
CONSTITUTION: When a drive device 17 produces such voltage as to make transmissivity of an electro-optical light control device 13 to be 0 and transmissivity of an electro-optical light control device 8 to be 1, a light flux passing through an outer path is incident upon a photoelectric converter 9. Output signal from the photoelectric converter 9 is applied to a phase memory 23 and stored therein via an amplifier 14, a comparator 19 and a phase meter 15. Next, when the output from the drive 17 is reversed, a light flux passing through an inner light path irradiates into the photoelectric converter 9. Thereupon, a signal change over switch 18 is shifted and a light path length is displayed on an indicator 25 through an arithmetic circuit 24. Thus, because no vibration attendant upon driving of the shutter is generated, it becomes possible to perevent any trouble caused by such vibration.
