Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the fluid resistance in the valve part by forming the size of the valve part the valve body which is arranged rotatably in a multidirectional valve, nearly equal to the diameter of the fluid exit port and permitting the discharge amount at the one fluid exit port to be adjusted independently of the other fluid exit port.

CONSTITUTION: An fluid flowing port 3 is opened on the inner peripheral surface 2 of the valve accomodation part 1 of a valve body 13. The side surface of a valve body 5 is cut deeply, and the shape of the side is formed into nearly U-form, and the fluid passing port 3 is opened and closed by the valve part 9. The valve part 9 of the valve body (5) is formed to the nearly equal size to the largest diameter among fluid passing ports 3b₁, 3b₂, and 3a. When the fluid passing port 3b₁ is closed by the valve part 9, the fluid which flows-in from the fluid inflow port 3a flows out, curved in the perpendicular direction. At this time, the valve part 9 is possible to close only the fluid passing port 3b₁ without having an influence on the fluid inflow port 3a and the fluid exit port 3b₂.
