Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform patterning easily and quickly, by heat-pressing the chip having undulations of the pattern to be copied to the hot melt adhesives on the supporting table.
CONSTITUTION: There are two kinds of shape of iron chip for heat patterning. One is the chip with the blade 1 protruded to cut the adhesives by heat, while the other is the chip with blades 4 on the outer circumference of the metallic roller. Chips of the former type are mounted to such a heating body as electic iron on the screw holes 3 and heated. Then by applying the edge 1 to the surface of the adhesives and removing the parts thereof, the patterning can be performed. With such an arrangement, the adhesives can be patterned quickly to any form.
