CONSTITUTION:Code table 4 is provided for converting the coordinate code indicated by keyboard and KB to a character code and has the code memory area of capacity components of one KB. Respective one-KB components classified by the kind of keyboards KB are stored in storage areas M1-Mn of CPU1. When the kind of keyboard Kb1 is inputted from this keyboard, it is stored in register 8. CPU1 selects table information corresponding to this kind from storage areas M1- Mn and loads it into code table 41 corresponding to this keyboard.
