Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a veneer separating-stacking device in which veneers cut into two sections in a standard size cut process are sent to a stack station with the two sections being in parallel and separated there left and right to be gravitationally stacked with improved efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: Two veneers 3a, 3b cut in a standard size are transferred in parallel above stack stations 6L, 6R by a conveyer means 20. When the leading ends of veneers are detected by terminal sensors 23, signals of the sensors operate air cylinders 45, 46 to make a pair of upper and lower extensible rollers 41, 42 bear against each other so that the veneers are sandwiched between the rollers, separated in the directions of the arrows by the rotation of the rollers and stacked on stack stations 6L, 6R through stoppers 52. Thus, the space of the installation place can be reduced and the operation can be carried out with high speed.
