Abstract

PURPOSE:To add a simple function to make recording of two colors possible, by providing a position mark on the recording paper of the normal thermosensitive recording type facsimile device by discrimination of color and by recording the second color after recording the first color. CONSTITUTION:The transmission side operates the button for transmission of two colors before communication to transmit the bicolor transmission control signal, and the control part of the receiving side discriminates this signal to operate position mark mechanism 3. Position mark hole 4 of the first color 2 is provided on recording paper 1 by the operation of solenoid 101 of this mechanism 3. When the picture signal of the first color is input to head driving circuit 6, the power source is connected to the L side by relay S to heat thermal head 5 corresponding to the L side, and recording paper 1 is fed in the arrow F direction by feeding motor 7 to record the first color. After receiving of the first color, recording paper 1 is moved in the arrow F' direction, and mark hole 4 is detected by photodetector 18, and the power source of circuit 6 is switched to the H side by relay S to record the second color in the position of the first color, and thus, two colors are recorded with a simple device.
