Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid a picture fog, by covering the surface of a carrier with the styrene-butadiene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A carrier such as the iron oxide powder having the grain size of 10-100mu is is soaked into a solution in which the styrene-butadiene copolymer containing the 100,000-350,000mol.wt. plus the 40-95mol% styrene content is dispersed, and then dried at 50 deg.-70 deg.C. Then the carrier is covered with the above- mentioned copolymer of 0.3-5.0wt%. A developer using such carrier is applied to perform a copy of a number of sheets. In such way, a toner fogging is avoided at the nonpicture part with no reduction given to the concentration of the picture.
