Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it easy to operate a sequence controller by discriminating which program in EP-ROM or RAM is to be executed and then by displaying the result every time the power source is put to work. CONSTITUTION:A user program stored in RAM6 or EP-ROM8 is decoded and executed by CPU3. Then, CPU3, whenever the power source is turned on, scans respective addresses of EP-ROM prior to the execution of the program and detects whether the program can be utilized. According to the result, which program in both the memories the control should be done on the basis of is determined and displayed. Therefore, the operator can know the correct in-use state of the memories at any time and a specially formed program is never lost because the contents of RAM are transferred to EP-ROM without fail, so that the easy-to-operate sequence controller can be obtained.
