Abstract

PURPOSE:To change over the posture of an inserting member easily by providing one sliding member which is slided according to discrimination by a discriminating means and cooperating this sliding member and the inserting member thereby turning the vertical and horizontal postures of the inserting member. CONSTITUTION:A cassette holder 133 which permits selective loading of plural kinds of tape cassette and a kind discriminating means 141 for tape cassettes provided to said holder 133 are provided. Also, a locating mechanism constituted of plural kinds of locating pins 108, 109, 118, 119 provided according to the kinds of tape cassettes and a sliding plate 100 which changes over the tape cassette locating mechanism according to the discrimination of the means 141 are provided. These are so arranged that the kinds of the tape cassettes loaded are discriminated and the locating pins 108, 109, 118, 119 which are the tape cassette locating mechanism are changed over, whereby the locating of the tape cassettes according to their kinds is accomplished.
