Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the microwave repeating system into high reliability, by selecting the repeater gain, the fading margin, and the antenna coupling loss rationally to realize fail soft in the fading margin. CONSTITUTION:If antenna 1 is used as the receiving antenna, radio waves received by antenna 1 are amplified through by-pass circuit 2 by repeater main body 3 and are transmitted from antenna 4 when the system is normal. When the system is abnormal, by-pass circuit 2 is controlled by the repeater anomaly signal and the power source voltage anomaly to by-pass the circuit from terminal 8 to terminal 13, and radio waves are radiated from antenna 4. Consequently, when lowering of the gain of the repeating system for by-passing, is within the fading margin of the microwave communication system, system down is avoided to realize fail soft.
