Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet to be developed from coming into abnormal contact with a toner layer even if an undeveloped sheet gets crumpled or corrugated, by providing a projection of a prescribed thickness at the toner-layer unformed part of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION:Inside of fixed sleeve 1 of a nonmagnetic material, magnet roller 2 is arranged rotatably. At both ends of sleeve 1 where toner layer 3 is not formed, projection 6 is provided partially opposing to the ineffective development area of recording paper 5. As for thickness M of the projection, when recording paper 5 approaches the sleeve surface owing to crumpling and corrugation, the recording paper is pushed against guide 4 by the projection and on a latent image formation surface, no toner sticks physically. When the sleeve rotates, the projection is provided over the entire circumferences at both ends of the sleeve.
