Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the name of function in a short time and with a simple operation of keys for an information processor containing a flexible keyboard, by obtaining the function code through a key code memory and by means of a read key in case the name of function is unknown for the key. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of keys 2 plus the control switch 8 are provided on the keyboard 1, and the printer 16 is connected to the CPU10 via the ROM13, RAM14 and print controller 15 each. In case the name of unction is unknown for either one of the keys 2 in a registration, the read key 5 is pushed with the switch 8 put under registration. Thus the CPU10 sets the read key flag memory 28. After this, the total key 7 is pushed to secure a display 11 of the function code data stored in the key code memory 21. In such way, the corresponding function can be obtained by using a function code name conversion table.
