Abstract
PURPOSE:To give a sharp and stable thermal process repeatedly to a test part by providing a bypass channel of the test part which forms a channel equal in capacity and thermal capacity to the one of the test part and by maintaining at a fixed level the quantity of fluid flowing through a heater and a cooler. CONSTITUTION:The heater 2 and the cooler 3 are provided in the upstream of the test part 1 and their outlet pipings 4 and 5 are connected to the test part 1 by a mixing tee 6. From the outlet pipings 4 and 5 are branched a high-temperature bypass pipe 17 and a low-temperature bypass pipe 18, both of which are connected to the outlet piping 7 of the test part 1 by a mixing tee 19 through the intermediary of a buffer tank 20. The mixture ratio of high-temperature fluid to the low-temperature entering the test part 1 is controlled by operating adjusting valves 13 and 14 by means of a flow-rate control device 16. The flow rate of the heater 2 and the cooler 3 can be maintained at a fixed level by a heater flow-rate control device 22 and a cooler flow-rate control device 23 provided at the bypass pipes 17 and 18 respectively and, since the bypass channels are almost equal in capacity and thermal capacity to that of the test part 1, the temperature of the fluid entering the heater 2 and the cooler 2 turns to be nearly fixed.
