PURPOSE:To improve radiation of a detecting resistance part and widen the range of allowance of unevenness of each detecting resistance part by connecting a plurality of detecting resistance parts in parallel by terminal parts for fitting lead wires having larger area than these detecting resistance parts. CONSTITUTION:The detecting resistance parts R1-R6 are divided into two blocks and both ends of each detecting resistance part are connected with the terminal parts A, B and C for fitting lead wires, which are formed in wide belt-shaped bodies. And a power source is connected between the terminal parts A and C, while an output signal is obtained from between the terminal parts B and C. In addition, the interval between the adjacent detecting resistance parts R3 and R4 of two blocks is set to be [n+(1/2)]lambda (n is an integer) in relation to the interval between signals S and N recorded on a magnetic recording medium 3, and thus a signal of frequency twice as large as that of the recorded signal can be taken out.
