Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a seal impression impossible to read even by using infrared or ultraviolet rays and prevent forgery of a seal by employing ink made by adding a fluorescent material to one component of a two-part color former for printing, then stamping a seal by using ink containing the other component and coating the seal impression with an ultraviolet absorptive film.
CONSTITUTION: The portion of a certificate 1 of securities made of paper, film or the like to be sealed is printed 2 by using ink containing the A material in a two- part (A and B having the opposite type to each other) heat-sensitive color former and a fluorescent material. Then, a seal is stamped to the printed portion 2 to make a seal impression 3 by using ink containing the B material in said color former instead of a vermilion seal ink. Under said condition, ultraviolet whose visible region has been out is applied thereto to confirm the seal impression 3 by the luminance difference between the reflected rays from the seal impression 3 portion and its periphery. Then, a cover 4 of transparent film containing an ultraviolet absorptive agent is attached thereto through an adhesive 5. Thereby, the seal impression 3 cannot be read even by applying ultraviolet rays. However, reacting the A and B materials on heating causes them to form a color which can be read.
