Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform automatic aperture controlling with compensated response delay by adjusting the counting of the pulses generated by way of an aperture control member by making use of the pulses which the control member generates in an idle running region.
CONSTITUTION: When an aperture control member 4 moves, a gear 3 turns cooperatively, and pulses are generated from a pulse generator PC. A predetermined idle running region has been set in the drive member 6 cooperating with this member 4, and until the driving of the idle running region is completed, the member 6 does not contactually touch a drive pin and stopping is not accomplished. When the added value of a predetermined number of adjusting pulse number out of the pulses generated by the generator PC at the idle running and the count value of the pulses generated by the generator PC after the stopping in succession to the counting of said adjusting pulse number coincides with the operated value, an aperature control magnet AP-MG is de-energized to stop the member 4. Hence, the response delay via the magnet AP-MG is beforehand corrected by the adjusting pulses and the automatic aperture adjustment with corrected response delay is accomplished.
